A Day in the Life at Twin Branch Wellness & Recovery
Life at Twin Branch is very structured. Each day is filled with activities and therapies to reduce downtimes when clients may be overwhelmed by thoughts to use drugs or alcohol. Women will learn how following a schedule, planning activities and making alternative choices can help avoid reverting to old tendencies that could threaten her sustained recovery.
We would like to provide you with a generalized look into a typical day in our residential treatment program.
6:00 am – Empowerment Center (EC) open for individuals who desire a morning workout, yoga or other resource center time. Wake Up Notice to client
7:00 - 8:00 am – Breakfast. Individuals are responsible for clearing own plates/clean up and getting ready for the day.
7:30 - 8:00 am – Relapse Prevention Group
8:00 - 8:45 am - Medication staff dispenses medication and charts wellness
8:00 - 8:20 am – Client and room readiness – Life skills practice begins with client making her own bed, wipe down surfaces in room and assigned bath and report for group or individual therapy time with checkin at 9am.
9:00 - 9:30 am – Empowerment Center Check In - Gratitude & Intentions
9:30- 11:30 am – Core Group Programming - Created by women for women. Supportive, trauma informed and evidence based addiction treatment and mental health curriculum.
11:30 - 12:30 pm – Break / Lunch
12:30 - 2:30 pm – Core Group Programming - Created by women for women. Supportive, trauma informed and evidence based addiction treatment and mental health curriculum.
2:30 - 3:30 pm – Body In Motion - get your body moving with light to moderate activity.
3:30 - 4:45 pm – Quiet Time / Journalling / Reflection
4:45 - 5:30 pm – Free Time until Dinner
5:30 - 6:30 pm – Dinner Time with Clean Up
6:30 - 8:00 pm – Final Group - Blossom Material coordinated with Core Programming
8:00 - 9:00 pm - Final Medications and Vitals
9:00 - 10:30 pm - Free Time
10:30 pm – Lights Out
Twin Branch encourages proper nutrition and sleep habits to establish healthy foundations for sustained recovery. With proper wellness, we are more energetic, alert and ready to participate in getting well!
